The thirty year old company Castagna di Vallerustie is established in San Lurenzu, a small village in the heart of the Corsican mountains.

The chestnut tree "u castagnu" has formed this region and gave it its name; la Castagniccia.

 

The company, ensuring a traditional know-how, was able to work an exceptional land, full of mellowness and savours. It offers you well-known traditional specialties made with chestnuts, citrus fruits, figs...

 

Since 1993, the family-owned company commits to guaranteed biologic products to preserve and promote the Corsican farm-produce heritage. Subject to the specifications of the biologic farm-produce industry, regular controls are done during all of the production phases, from the raw materials to the final product.
